Painting the American Dream:
Paintings by David Herrling

Driving a Big Black Kenworth and painting the American Dream.
                                            -Joe Freedom Art

Contemporary American Artist David Herrling, aka Joe Freedom, has been on the move since traveling the world as a child. That wanderlust found a new outlet in 2015 when David started driving a Semi Truck “Over the Road”. Truck driver by day and artist by night, Herrling is the “Norman Rockwell” of the 21st Century, giving us a unique perspective of seeing America from 9’ above the ground, and a glimpse into a Trucker's World.

Painting the American Dream features 20 original acrylic works on board, masterfully painted from photographs Herrling takes on the road. Old Fashion country stores, big skies, trains, and other purely "Americana" roadside attractions evoke nostalgia, and familiar to all who have driven the American Highways.
David Herrling is available for artist talks and receptions (he will even bring the Semi)

Number of photographs: Approx 20
Rental fee: TBA
